About
This is the homepage of Netmap, a C++ class library for 2D games programmers. There is not much content yet, but as it seems this library will not only be used by the GGZ Gathering game, but also by other ones (I hope so).
Have a look on the
MindX Homepage for tons of little games and links to even more ones.
The author (that's me, Josef Spillner) welcomes any participation and feedback.

News
March 06 2001:
Update to 0.2, and what is really new? I am pretty sure that the resource manager NetmapResourceFile is still buggy, the rest should work though. With the included Qt demo program you can see (and control, via debug output) how Netmap works.

March 04 2001:
Released 0.1 as a kind of working preview. Already included:
kdoc generated class documentation, and a little example which can be used to squish errors. Please note that the current version does _not_ work yet.

March 03 2001:
Ooops... Just another project of mine. I think such a lib is now long overdue. I don't know of any existing yet, or at least I am too lazy to search. Gives me a reason to learn C++ stuff anyway ;)

Requirements
The only requirement is a working libstdc++ v3. Optionally you should have qt installed for one of the examples. For class documentation generation you need kdoc or doxygen (not tested yet with the latter one).
